ResponsibilitiesIn this position you will be responsible for:
- Managing a portfolio of countries in EMEA, reporting to Senior Director of International Tax.
- Providing tax advice and services in assigned areas of technical expertise to Keysight at the enterprise and entity levels, and to managers or other employees in the areas of compliance (including SOX), transfer pricing, planning and training.
- Assigned areas may include involvement in company income tax, transaction tax, corporate legal structure, acquisitions and divestitures, transfer pricing and intercompany transactions and other tax areas.
- Researching, preparing, analyzing and documenting tax issues and compliance for the geographic and process area of responsibility including related systems and accounting understanding, working with outside advisors where appropriate.
- Engaging with the businesses and other functions in the implementation of business or process changes.
- Participating in the formulation, coordination and implementation of Keysight’s global tax strategy with the objective of optimizing global after-tax results.
- Participating in the representation of Keysight in audits, litigation and other negotiation with government authorities relating to tax matters.
- Participating in cross functional projects partnering with finance & non finance functions like Corporate Controllership Organization, Corporate Financial Reporting, Human Resources, legal, corporate development, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and order management.
- Providing tax advice on complex issues affecting Keysight’s financial results and business.}
- Acting as tax consultant to senior management including group business level executive managers.
- Initiating and leads development and execution of high impact strategic tax projects and processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s Degree or University Degree or equivalent.
- Typically, 10 to 12+ years relevant experience for entry to this level. Big 4 Accounting Firm and multinational companies tax background preferred.
- Strong direct and indirect tax technical knowledge and ability to apply is a must.
- Demonstrated experience with Netherlands and Luxembourg tax is a must.
- Regional tax management experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Must be a team player with ability to work with people across functions and culture and from all levels within the organization.
