Job Description Summary Location: Barcelona (Hybrid & office)Novartis is unable to offer relocation support for this role: please only apply if this location is accessible for you.We are looking for a Senior Project Manager responsible for end-to-end project delivery and/or operations within the DEV PSPV & GMA sub-domain/sub-capability. This includes handling the design, development, deployment, and delivery of complex projects, project work streams, or sub-projects within critical programs that provide IT solutions.
Job DescriptionRoles and Responsibilities:Manage the delivery of internal and outsourced projects from project initiation to transition to operations.Monitor and control project execution, establish project governance, managing risks and issues.Ensure effective use of resources and project management methods, tools and practicesDeliver projects on time and within budget and to meet the desired business objectives.Alternatively, may support the provision of services that contribute to managing the enterprise IT project portfolio, including development and implementation of project management standards and training, portfolio reporting and analytics, project management resourcing services, etc.Provide transparent and accurate project reporting including overall performance of theproject and project documentation completionOwn project status, issues and risks through appropriate channels / tools and ensuresthat these are reported back to agreed project governance (e.g., Steering Committee) with focus on required actions, ownership, and risk management.Accountable to ensure adherence with Security and Compliance policies and procedures within Project Management service scopeCollaborate effectively with other teams, DDIT Functions and Domains in the organization, as well as strategic suppliers providing services to the projectEssential Requirements:12+ years Industry/ Business Exposure, Project Management, People Leadership, Interactions with senior management,Proven ability to develop trust-based relationships with key regional stakeholders, Well-developed record of successful relationship management, Functional Breadth, Ability to work and lead (a cross-functional team) in a matrix environment, Major Change, Collaborating across boundaries, People Leadership, Accountability, Relationship ManagementAnalysing stakeholder requirements, Organizing and planning, Aligning people and resources, Timely decision making, Contracting with Stakeholders, Problem solving, Managing budgets, Change managementKnowledge in business domain areas for Medical Affairs would be a plus.Education & Qualifications:University degree in Informatics, Computer Sciences, business or similarProject Methodologies (Agile – Scrum training)Commitment to Diversity & Inclusion:We are committed to building an outstanding, inclusive work environment and diverse teams representative of the patients and communities we serve.Skills Desired Budgeting, Change Management, Decision Making Skills, Leading Project Teams, Planning Ability, Project Finance, Project Implementations, Project Management, Project Risk Management, Project Team Management, Stakeholder Engagement, Stakeholders Management, Waterfall Model
