Period of employment: temporary (till September 30, 2026)The competition is open to each candidate who meets the requirements set out in the Higher Education and Science Act of July 20th 2018 (Journal of Laws of 2018, item 1668 as amended) and the Statute of University of Wroclaw.The candidate is required to * Hold a doctoral degree in the humanities or social studies or master’s degree in social communication and media sciences.

• Demonstrate documented professional experience in higher education, teaching experience in the field of teaching in Polish at a university-type higher education institution, in particular in the field of communication design, copywriting and creative process (at Bachelor’s and Master’s level) and willingness to teach them in the future, as well as organisation of teaching work at a university-type higher education institution; documented teaching experience of at least 5 years.
• Excellent knowledge of English.
• Have a sufficient command of the Polish language to be able to communicate in the academic environment and to participate in comparative studies.
• The selection board will also consider the following additional criteria related to the profile of the Institute of Journalism and Social Communication: experience in conducting market research and developing promotional strategies.

Responsibilities * Conducting classes and administrative work related to the implementation and organization of the didactic process in the scope and size provided for the position of senior lecturer in accordance with the current internal normative acts of the University of Wrocław.

• Performing other tasks and activities related to the implementation and organization of the didactic process indicated by the Head of the Institute of Journalism and Social Communication.
• Participation in the organisational activities of the Institute (e.g. Department and Institute meetings, acting as tutor of student groups, acting as secretary of the admissions committee, taking part in the organisation of examinations and others).
• Popularisation activities, including participation in and organisation of university promotional campaigns.
• Compliance with the provisions of copyright and related rights in teaching, research and creativity.
