We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic Senior Lecturer in Cancer Data Science on an Enhanced Research Academic Career Pathway. This role is part funded by the Health and Care Research Wales funded Wales Cancer Research Centre in the first instance and the post holder will deliver research within the Medical School’s Health Data Science Unit focussing on cancer. The postholders research efforts will align to both the national cancer research strategy for Wales (CReST; https://walescancerresearchcentre.org/crest/) including the Cancer Trusted Research Environment Project and those of Health Data Science at Swansea University that includes health services research and clinical trials (https://www.swansea.ac.uk/medicine/research/patient-and-population-health-informatics/ ). They will contribute to teaching and project supervision on programmes such as the MSc Health Data Science (https://www.swansea.ac.uk/postgraduate/taught/medicine/health-data-science-msc-pgdip-pgcert/ ) and share organisational and academic administrative responsibilities.
