Based in the heart of the West End in Central London, Psychology is taught in the University’s School of Social Sciences, which is situated in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. The School has a serious focus on enhancing student experience and learning. We strongly support the University’s commitments to enhancing Equality, Diversity and Inclusion. Comprising a welcoming community of academic and research colleagues, technical and administrative colleagues, and a diverse, multicultural student population, we teach and carry out research across the full breadth of psychology and the neurosciences. We currently offer BSc Psychology, BSc Psychology and Counselling, BSc Cognitive and Clinical Neuroscience and BSc Psychology and Criminology undergraduate programmes as well as MSc Psychology, MSc Health Psychology and MSc Counselling postgraduate programmes. In addition, we have a flourishing PhD programme. All of our taught courses are accredited by the British Psychological Society.
The post holder is expected to contribute to the teaching of Health Psychology and to supervise PG Health Psychology students. A serious and demonstrable commitment to supporting students from diverse backgrounds and enhancing their university experience is essential. Post holders will be expected to teach on both our undergraduate and postgraduate courses as required. We are seeking a motivated individual who is passionate about teaching, research and the practice of health psychology.
You will be an established researcher and practitioner with experience in Health Psychology. Candidates should be Health Psychologists registered with the HCPC or are working towards registration.
