Job description

Taylor Hopkinson is recruiting a Senior Legal Counsel for a dynamic and growing renewable energy IPP company active across Europe.This person will serve as the primary legal reference for all administrative and regulatory matters in Italy.Responsibilities:

Provide legal guidance on all aspects of administrative law as it relates to the company’s operations and renewable energy projects in Italy.
Support the development team in navigating permitting and authorisation processes at local, regional, and national levels.
Manage relationships and communications with public authorities, regulatory agencies, notaries, and local stakeholders.
Lead or coordinate litigation and dispute resolution related to permitting or administrative issues.
Offer legal input on commercial and development agreements related to renewable energy initiatives.

Requirements:

Law degree from a recognised Italian university.
Minimum of 5 years of legal experience, preferably within the renewable energy or infrastructure sectors.
Strong background in administrative law, permitting procedures, real estate, and litigation.
Excellent drafting and negotiation skills in both Italian and English.
