The position will be part of the Stillstrom Legal & Regulatory team in Copenhagen, and you will report directly to the Head of Legal and Regulatory and have a close collaboration across Stillstrom.A collaborative, trusting, and engaging work environment with an opportunity to grow professionally. Furthermore, you will have access to the Esplanaden campus-Maersk HQ that includes gym, Bistro, Lounge, laundry and optical services, and a wide range of facilities.Job OverviewAs a key legal contact, you will provide day-to-day advice on product and business-related contracts and support the development of Stillstrom’s product suite. You will work closely with leadership, engineering, and commercial teams to navigate the complex legal landscape of offshore energy and maritime technology.This role ensures that the company’s contracts are legally sound, aligned with our risk appetite and strategic goals, while focused on “getting the best possible deal” across the line. You will guide sales and product teams and drive contracting across the supply chain.This hands-on exciting role requires extensive in-house advisory experience, especially in contract negotiation and business support. You will be instrumental in developing and standardizing Stillstrom’s contractual frameworks, terms, and contracting processes.You will also support the Head of Legal and Regulatory in implementing global governance, risk management, and building a unified legal support function.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as the trusted legal advisor and subject matter expert to assist the delivery and product development team.Safeguarding the company’s values, interests, and reputation.Advise and support on drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts and other legal documents.Proactively identifying and addressing legal issues in a pragmatic and risk-based fashion.Provide sound legal advice to various teams, including technical, commercial, finance, and procurement, ensuring smooth business growth while maintaining compliance on contract-related issues.Qualifications & ExperienceLaw degree (LLB, JD, or equivalent) and qualified to practice in at least one relevant jurisdiction.7+ years of legal experience, including contract drafting, negotiation, and template refinement.Strong commercial mindset with a results-driven approach and high integrity.Proven ability to manage multiple legal matters in a fast-paced start-up environment.Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.Experience in complex commercial transactions, ideally in both in-house and law firm roles.Experience in renewable energy, maritime, offshore, or technology sectors preferred.Project management and transactional experience are strong advantageStillstrom is on a fast-track journey to bring our innovative concept of offshore charging to market.
