Cheshire Wildlife Trust are recruiting for a Senior living Landscape Officer to develop and
deliver opportunities for nature conservation in the Delamere Forest and Sandstone Ridge Living
Landscape.
Senior Living Landscape Officer
Salary: £27,656 – £34,021 per annum
Contract type: Permanent / Working hours: Full time
Location: Bickley Hall Farm, Malpas, SY14 8EF – Hybrid Working
This is an excellent opportunity to join the growing Nature Recovery team at Cheshire Wildlife
Trust, in a role where you will use your technical expertise and environmental knowledge to
lead on the delivery of a wide range of projects on both Cheshire Wildlife Trust owned land and
land within the wider countryside.
The ideal candidate will have excellent project management and organisational skills, and the
ability to communicate effectively with people at a range of levels, including project
partners, farmers, landowners, and land managers. A good knowledge of managing a range of
habitats and an understanding of land use is essential.
Key priorities for the post holder
- Work in the wider landscape to engage farmers and other land managers with the work of the
Trust and facilitate the smooth delivery of a range of project-based outputs. - Lead on the management of a suite of the Trust’s nature reserves. This will include all
aspects of site management from organizing graziers to coordinating habitat management work. - Support the wider operations team with the delivery of commercial-based services to
supplement the Trust’s finances and build financial resilience.
