As a key member of the Ascendis Pharma Business Finance team, you will play a crucial role for the financials in collaboration agreements and potentially additional Innovative Business Models. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, collaborate with cross-functional, global teams working together to achieve extraordinary results. We are seeking a new team member to help develop an impactful project. You’ll collaborate with passionate individuals to ensure strong Collaboration between alliance partners and Ascendis Pharma.You will be joining the Business Finance team consisting of colleagues in both Denmark and the US. You will be based in the headquarters in Hellerup and report directly to Jacob Nielsen, Head of Business Finance, who is also based in Hellerup.Your key responsibilities will be:

• Main finance driver for financials related to external collaboration for Development and Commercialization of TransCon® Technology-based Products.
• Involvement in updates for project budgets together with internal stakeholders.
• Manage financials with partners based on collaboration agreements.
• Proactively address financial issues in collaboration with internal stakeholders and partners.
• Internal reporting for alliance management, steer co members, and finance management.

Qualifications and Skills:You hold a relevant academic degree – preferably a degree within finance. Moreover, you come from a similar position where you have gained deep knowledge about managing financials for external collaborations within pharma.Furthermore, you have:

• Experience with R&D and pharma.
• Project management skills to drive changes & impact.
• Negotiation skills when interacting with external partners.
• Good communication skills.
• Drive to manage the financials in the collaboration.
• Cross-Functional skills to Partnering with various functions involved in the collaboration.
• Skillful with Financial Systems, Cognos, PowerBI and generating robust analysis.
