At EY, you’ll have the chance to build a career as unique as you are, with the global scale, inclusive culture, and development support to become the best version of you.The opportunityWe are currently looking for a Senior Manager with a great interest in Finance and Sustainability, to join us in driving meaningful improvements in our clients’ Finance functions by rethinking their Finance operating model through the lens of sustainability.You will be enabled to lead the implementation of a portfolio of projects related to Finance, sustainability and ESG, including Finance operating model design and translation of CSRD requirements into reporting needs, and you will be empowered to participate in the planning and completion of finance transformation projects. As our local anchor in Finance and Sustainability in Denmark, you will be engaged in sales dialogue with our wonderful clients and heading the delivery of projects.Our clients and our contributionIn Finance Consulting, our main customers are CFOs and Finance leaders. The modern role of Finance is changing due to digitalization, new technology and an increased focus on long-term value within a triple-bottom line context. As a Senior Manager in the Finance team, you will play a key role in helping our clients develop and implement finance strategies and finance operating models, as well as optimizing processes enabled by technology. You will collaborate with a skilled team of Finance Consultants to turn great ideas into high quality solutions, being an integral and valued voice in the solution development process.Your key responsibilities

• Developing finance strategy and operating model with integrated sustainability

• Developing ESG reporting target operating model

• Improving finance function to increase efficiency and value creation

• Helping design future processes and implementing relevant technology

• Translating complex issues into clear recommendations and solutions

• Delivering successful finance projects by leading teams and delivering quality outcomes

• Developing and nurturing client relationships to become a trusted advisor

• Driving marketing and sales activities towards existing and prospective clients

• Completed a relevant master’s degree, preferably with focus on Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Sustainability or similar.

• Minimum 5 years of experience working as a Finance Consultant

• Leadership experience from team management or project management

• Experience with implementing value and performance management frameworks

• A well-founded appreciation of the Finance function and the priorities of the CFO

• Basic knowledge of CSRD and sustainability reporting

• Basic understanding of data and systems

• Excellent communication skills in English and preferably also in Danish

• A passion for Finance and Sustainability
