Bumble is looking for a maternity cover for the role of France Senior Manager. Reporting to the Associate Director, Europe Marketing, you will serve as our interim market expert, allowing Bumble to speak authentically to the French audience through multi-channel, integrated marketing campaigns. In this role, you will be responsible for the development and execution of the integrated marketing strategy for the French market, brand campaigns, and collaboration with cross-functional teams in a remote-first environment. Your ultimate goal will be to drive brand awareness and deliver new user growth in France by designing campaigns based on market needs and performance trends, identifying opportunities to build and scale our brand. You have a pulse on relevance and engagement, and you are able to innovate, evolve, and work with teams to support the roadmap for a mission-driven brand. You care deeply about Bumble’s mission and are passionate about being part of cultural change. You will be responsible for driving the development of France’s brand marketing strategy.
Please note that this is a 6 month fixed-term-contract (CDD) hybrid position in France and is not eligible for sponsorship at this time.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Strategic Leadership: Contribute to the integrated marketing strategy definition and brand plan development for France, through deep understanding of the customer, brand, market, and commercial priorities and identification of new growth opportunities
- Cross-Functional Project Management: Oversee high-impact, cross-functional strategic projects. Work closely with the Brand, Product, and Growth Marketing teams to ensure successful and efficient rollouts
- Budget Management: Manage the allocation of budgets across marketing activities to achieve specific business goals. Ensure efficient use of resources and alignment with business priorities
- Integrated Campaign Development: Manage external agencies and internal resources to develop and execute the most impactful integrated campaigns. Responsibilities include briefing, providing strategic feedback, overseeing production as well as leading media planning, ensuring efficiency and alignment with business objectives across all media channels
- Campaign Measurement and Optimisation: Ensure all marketing campaigns are rigorously measured and continuously optimized based on results. Collaborate closely with analytics teams to devise measurement plans for high-impact marketing programs
- Innovation in Marketing: Continuously add and experiment with new marketing tactics and initiatives while solidifying proven channels to drive growth. Champion a test-and-learn approach to demonstrate the incrementality and ROI of marketing spend. Ensure tight oversight, management, and optimization of country marketing budgets
- Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with stakeholders across central and regional teams, including marketing, product, operations, commercial strategy, and external agencies. Regularly report progress and results to a variety of stakeholders, ensuring cross-functional alignment around goals and objectives
- Team Leadership: Inspire and lead a Marketing Manager. Foster a culture of collaboration and learning, recognise strengths, and create development opportunities
Who You Are:
- You have 8+ years professional experience in marketing with the responsibility of leading and delivering impactful marketing strategies that deliver results.
- You have experience in online and offline marketing, with proven ability to successfully develop and execute integrated, multi-channel, customer-centric campaigns
- You are competent in sourcing and reviewing performance data and analytics leading to new strategies against key business metrics, including short-term acquisition and long-term brand health.
- You are concrete/hands-on/operationally motivated, while also able to function at a high strategic level and commercially stress-test concepts and ideas.
- You are resourceful, positive and committed with a ‘can-do’ attitude and a flexible approachYou are a self-starter who can work independently in a fast-paced environment with limited oversight. Furthermore, you adjust well to changes in priorities, and balance short-term needs with long-term strategic initiatives.
- You have excellent time management and you know how to manage multiple priorities, breaking large projects into manageable pieces and deal with ambiguity, and multiple competing priorities.
- You have the ability to lead, influence and work across organizational boundaries with a track record of building excellent relationships with a broad range of teams across global markets.
- You have demonstrated the ability to think strategically and to translate key insights and data into detailed marketing plans and campaigns.You are meticulously organized, and engage in projects and work streams with a sense of urgency when required.
- You work well cross-functionally across teams, time zones and cultures, in a remote-first environment.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, comfortable communicating at all levels in a business.
