Job Category: PayrollJob Description:NOV Corporate Regional Payroll Team is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Payroll Advisor to manage payroll processes for our Business Units in Denmark. This role is key to ensuring accurate and efficient payroll processing in compliance with Danish legislation. We are looking for a candidate with strong accounting knowledge and extensive understanding of payroll processes.About NOV Corporate Regional Payroll TeamWe are part of NOV’s global Finance and HR organization, responsible for payroll administration across multiple countries. Our team works closely with external payroll partners, HR, and Finance departments to ensure local compliance and optimize payroll processes. In this role, you will hold a key position in handling Danish payroll and serve as a trusted advisor in matters related to payroll, tax, and reporting.Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the entire payroll process for Denmark, including monthly payroll runs, tax deductions, and reporting
• Ensure payroll is processed in accordance with Danish law, including employment contracts, holiday pay, ATP, AM contributions, and other relevant schemes
• Handle reporting to SKAT and other authorities, and ensure compliance with audit and control procedures
• Collaborate closely with external payroll providers and NOV’s internal departments to optimize payroll processes
• Assist with payroll-related accounting tasks, including cost allocations, balance reconciliations, and reporting
• Act as an advisor to business units and employees on payroll-related questions, including tax rules for both Danish and international employees
• Contribute to the improvement and streamlining of payroll systems and processes

Qualifications:Required:

• Extensive experience in payroll and accounting
• Proven ability to manage international payroll operations
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal
• Proficient in using complex payroll systems and accounting software
• Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail
• Solution-oriented and service-minded approach
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex challenges independently
• Effective collaborator with both internal teams and external partners

Preferred:

• Knowledge of Danish employment law, tax regulations, and reporting requirements
• Experience working with ADP
• Familiarity with SOX compliance and audit procedures
