Senior Pricing Analyst – Commercial Motor Insurance
Hybrid – Cardiff (1-2 days per week)

We’re looking for a Senior Pricing Analyst to join a dynamic, high-growth team and shape the pricing strategy of innovative commercial motor insurance products.This role offers significant autonomy, direct influence on pricing decisions, and the opportunity to grow into a Head of Pricing position as the team expands.What You’ll Do

• Lead Pricing Strategy: Develop, refine and implement pricing models across commercial motor insurance, ensuring competitiveness and profitability.
• Drive Data Insights: Use advanced analytics to uncover trends, assess risk, and support strategic pricing decisions.
• Model Development: Build and validate robust pricing models using tools like Python, R, SQL, and Excel.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, underwriting, and risk teams to align pricing with broader business goals.
• Present and Influence: Deliver clear and compelling insights to senior stakeholders through dashboards and presentations.
• Stay Ahead of the Market: Monitor trends, competitors, and regulations to maintain a leading edge.

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years in pricing roles within commercial insurance, ideally in motor fleet or mini-fleet.
• Proven expertise in developing and refining pricing models.
• Strong technical skills in statistical and analytical software (e.g., Python, R, SQL).
• Excellent communicator capable of translating complex data into actionable insights.
• Self-driven, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
