The PositionThe Senior Process Manager is responsible to design, build and implement standardized global operations processes for MES Solutions to ensure competitiveness and GxP Compliance. Together with Global Process Owner and Production Managers, he/she defines process-strategies and drives process improvements according to the target process and system landscape. The position focusses on the business areas Manufacturing Execution and their process implementation in IT systems (especially Koerber PAS-X).
For this international position you will travel on a frequent basis (up to 25% of your working time) and support sites in different time zones (global responsibility). The position allows home office work, but 50% office work is desired.Tasks & responsibilities

• In your new position you will work closely with stakeholder (Production Managers, Global Process Owners, IT) of all Business Units (Human Pharma and Animal Health) and contribute to reach the target process landscape.
• You will identify improvement potential for business processes and drives global manufacturing process standardization according to ISA 95.
• Moreover, you will act as Senior Project Manager or Business Project Lead for international IT-supported Implementation Projects (MES Rollouts to our production sites in Europe, Americas and Asia) with the focus on Manufacturing Execution Processes.
• You will design, build and implement compliant processes and take care of their run activities, governance and strategic development.
• With your excellent communication skills, you will lead the Key user Community and share best practice via the Customer Network to all Boehringer Ingelheim Production sites.

Requirements

• Master’s degree, Diploma or PhD in Natural Science, Pharmacy, Business Administration or Economic computer scientist
• Several years of experience in positions with a strong decision-making task as well as responsibility for pharmaceutical business process or MES process implementation in international projects
• Knowledge of the economic processes in the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical production, additionally in supporting areas as manufacturing engineering or quality management in production
• Professional experience in implementation of standardized, highly integrated processes according to ISA 95 (SAP, MES and automation level), ideally complemented by Project Management skills
• Knowledge of GxP, Computer System Validation and regulatory requirements of pharmaceutical or animal health production
• Capability to orchestrate Meetings and to abstract complex topics to present them to all levels of the organization
• Dedicated team player with intercultural awareness and excellent communication skills. Fluent in English (additionally German knowledge would be an asset)
