In this position, you will play a vital role in shaping Fintech’s data strategy by leading the development lifecycle and building robust data models, reports, and dashboards that align with strategic product initiatives.You will work closely with cross-functional teams across domains to promote data-driven decision-making throughout the pillar (& organisation) and mentor medior/junior analysts to cultivate a culture of continuous growth. If you are an individual with advanced expertise in data analysis, are keen on building data as a product(DaaP), and have a passion to propagate data-led product development – this role is for you!These are some of the key ingredients to the role:

• Data Transformation and Modeling: Develop a scalable transformation layer through data marts and maintain these data models that enable both real-time and ad-hoc analysis, driving product decisions.
• Data Analysis: Conduct advanced data analysis, leveraging languages or distributed systems like Python, PySpark, SQL (BigQuery) to ensure accuracy, consistency, and actionable insights across various data sources.
• Data Reporting: Create, manage, and optimize dashboards and reports using Tableau, or Python visualizations, providing stakeholders with clear, actionable insights into health, performance and impact of the solutions we build.
• Data Validation & Testing: Drive data quality initiatives, identify and resolve gaps and inconsistencies alongside defining best practices for data validations and testing.
• Mentorship & Team Growth: Mentor other analysts, fostering collaboration & collective growth and implement best practices across the team.
• Collaboration: Be thought partners of the product teams, data engineers, and leadership to understand and meet data needs, aligning data initiatives with broader business goals.

What will you bring to the table?

• Significant experience in data analysis, or analytics engineering, or a related field, with a proven ability to deliver impactful data solutions in fast-paced companies. Experience with the Fintech/Payments industry is desirable.
• Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, Airflow and Github with strong experience in data warehousing concepts and ETL/ELT processes. Familiarity with DBT, distributed systems like PySpark, and experience with testing and validations are a plus but not essential.
• Analytical Skills & Experimentation: Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and generate actionable insights to lead product decisions. Advanced statistical knowledge of significance, testing of hypotheses, multivariate analysis is preferred.
• Communication: Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to distill complex technical concepts clearly for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Mentorship: Experience in mentoring team members and contributing to team growth. Ability to drive cross-functional teams in data-driven initiatives.
