Within Strategy & Operations, our COO team “SAP Globalization Operations” is the trusted advisor for this unit. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as a Technical Project Consultant
. This role requires an understanding of SAP Localization, as well as strong problem-solving thinking and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

-Assisting in enhancing the Jira requirements framework to reflect evolving business needs with regard to ongoing Localization topics.
-Independently evaluating feasible technical implementations of new projects, processes, functionalities, and fields in SAPJira, based on specifications provided by business process owners.
-Providing technical consultation and executing the implementations of approved solutions in SAPJira to ensure effective delivery.
-Support in managing Jira Requests raised by Development units while setting priorities.
-Aligning Localization Requirement Project configuration changes with central System Administration Team to get test configurations implemented in a timely manner.
-Assuming the responsibilities of the Jira Unit Administrator during absences to ensure seamless operations.
-Generating transparency and supporting business decisions with system-based data, for example, with the aim of ensuring the fast delivery of legal changes, while driving the adoption of Delivery Compliance.
-Leveraging technical expertise by driving activities on setting up dashboards and analyzing requirements for emerging technologies such as Business Data Cloud and AI-technologies.
-Supporting the Leadership team in ad-hoc tasks and requests

Role Requirements

-5+ years of experience in working in international software companies. 
-2+ years of experience in business operation functions. 
-Work experience in global and virtual teams. 
-Project and/or product management experience is a plus. 
-Proven track record in senior management support and C Level executive communication. 
-Professional with an academic education BA or higher in Computer Science, Science or Business. MBA or similar degree.
-Outcome/result-oriented, with a strong sense of accountability and ownership
-Ability to deliver quality work under time constraints.
-Strong can-do attitude and growth mindset
-Excellent organization skills
-Fluent in English
-German Language skills are a plus.
