The Faculty of Science and Engineering is going from strength to strength with our research in Engineering being ranked 2nd in the UK for outputs and 7th overall; Computer Science and Informatics ranked 8th in the UK and joint 1st for impact; as well as increased research quality and power across all subjects.

In this role you will lead on the development and delivery of the University’s research and innovation strategy and contribute to our vibrant, inclusive and thriving research community. You will provide expert leadership and specialised knowledge for links with industry, third sector and Government departments, working closely with colleagues in Business Development. You will oversee the development and implementation of Faculty’s strategic research and impact strategies and innovation activities.

The starting salary for those at grade 6 will be in the range of £51,048-£56,921 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance. This post is based at the Mile End Campus in London (post-holders expected to spend 60% of working time on campus). it is full time and permanent appointment. Application on a jobshare basis will be positively considered.
