Software Engineer C#/C++

Brest (Plouzané)

We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Engineer to join our team in Brest. In this role, you will be working on advanced surgical planning applications that leverage cutting-edge technology to improve orthopedic surgery outcomes.

Your work will involve developing software that enables precise placement of implants and instruments during surgery, utilizing 3D models reconstructed from imaging data. This technology significantly enhances surgeons’ ability to perform complex procedures with greater accuracy, ultimately improving patient outcomes and reducing the likelihood of reoperation.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in software development, with expertise in .NET/C# or other object-oriented programming languages like C++ or Java. Experience with web technologies (e.g., WebAssembly) or cloud services is a plus.

  • Skills:

  • Strong understanding of MVVM architecture.

  • Experience in application development required, knowledge in CT or image base software engineering is a plus.

  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with excellent communication skills.

  • Fluent in English (spoken and written); proficiency in French is beneficial.

Key Responsibilities

  • Software Development: Design, develop, test, debug, and implement software components for surgical planning applications, focusing on frontend, backend, infrastructure, and business logic.

  • Collaboration: Work with global software and system developers to ensure seamless integration and functionality across various platforms.

  • Concept Development: Contribute to the development of innovative concepts for planning applications using technologies like .NET/C#. Possibility to work on C++ and Java if needed.

  • System Improvement: Ensure successful implementation and monitoring of system improvements to enhance efficiency.

  • Adherence to Standards: Generate and maintain systems software engineering policies, standards, and procedures in compliance with industry regulations.
