>Our client, a dynamic and innovative organisation in Galway, is seeking experienced Senior Software Engineers in Test to join their team on a permanent basis. With a hybrid working policy, this opportunity provides a great work-life balance. This client operates hybrid working policy and candidates would be required to go to their Galway office.As a Senior Test Engineer, you will get the chance to work with cutting-edge technologies.About the role:
– Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve customer-facing software solutions.
– Collaborate with the team to implement test automation frameworks and best practises.
– Contribute to the QA automation strategy for our applications and ensure adherence to QA best practises.
– Work within an Agile Scrum environment, participating in sprint planning, code reviews, and retrospectives.
– Utilise your experience with continuous integration practises and automated deployment tools such as Jenkins.Skills:

• Strong experience in test automation frameworks such as Karate, Rest Assured
• Strong experience with API testing is a must.
• Some Experience with Cucumber/Gherkin
• Ability to contribute to the QA automation strategy for our applications, and oversee QA best practices.
• Experience with Java is required.
• Experience building and deploying applications using continuous integration pipelines and automated deployment tools such as Jenkins.
• Experience working in an agile scrum development environment.
