Service Advisor / Receptionist Needed in Preston

• Location: Preston
• Working Hours: Monday-Friday, with occasional Saturdays (overtime)
• Shift Pattern: 7am – 3:30pm / 8:30am – 4:30pm / 9:30am-6pm (Three weeks rotational)
• Salary: Competitive + Bonus Scheme
• Excellent company car scheme
• Holiday: 25 days (Plus banks) – Option to purchase additional 5 days (38 days holiday including BH)!!

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join a busy team as a Service Advisor / Receptionist at a reputable commercial dealer in Preston.Key Responsibilities of the Service Advisor / Receptionist:

• Manage, book, and maintain job cards, ensuring efficient processing
• Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders at all levels
• Support the parts department with ordering parts and managing subcontractor work when needed
• Raise invoices from job cards/repair orders, ensuring proper invoicing and cash handling
• Report on time, hours sold, and provide statistics and budgetary information when required
• Provide a professional and friendly reception service
• Assist with retail invoicing and process administrative tasks

• Experience in a customer service environment, with some technical knowledge or administrative skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Flexible and proactive approach to work
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
