Our team plays an integral role by helping the business plan for the future.Partner with the bestYou will be vital player in performing the daily operations of plants to ensure reliability and consistency on the production line, including Service Shops. You will contribute to the development of the business plan, develop a strategic midterm plan for the manufacturing unit based, leading the daily engineering support of service shops.As a Service Repairs Shop Leader, you will be responsible for:Ensuring that the shop is operated in compliance with applicable Global and Local safety, environmental, requirements and regulations.Ensuring that all processes, tools and qualified people are in place to assure highest Quality standards and meet Company and Customer Quality requirements for products and services.Managing all Operations and Maintenance activities in the shop from planning, execution, costs management, productivity and monitoring perspectives.Coordinating direct reports as well as support the network team to resolve fulfilment issues related to all Customer contracts (Technical, Quality, Vendors, Materials, Rotables etc).Ensuring that an adequate supply of manpower, tools, equipment, and spare parts are available to support safe and efficient operations.Building strong relationship with the typical collaboration partners (HSE, HR, Finance, Global Operation COE (Quality, Technical Service, Master Planning), Commercial, Service Regional OTR, Product Leadership, FSE org, Logistic, MFG, Sourcing).Coordinating with Service OTR to better drive priorities in the repair shop.Developing and implementing procedures and systems for a lean service shop utilizing visual management, 5S principles and digital to position the shop for “Brilliant”.Providing motivation and strong leadership to shop personnel, promoting an inclusive and proactive culture and a safe work environment.Fuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will:Have Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.Strong experience in Service and Shop OperationsKnowledge of Turbo-Machinery Service Repair dynamics to assure fast turnaround to fulfill Customer pressing needsStrong interpersonal and leadership skills.Highly organized, adaptable to change and the ability to work in a fast-paced environmentDemonstrated track record of continuous improvementsCapability to prioritize business requirements and to efficiently manage assigned budgetsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsFluency in EnglishIt will be considered a plus proven experience in component manufacturing or repair and overhaul environment with one or more of the following turbo-machinery: Gas Turbines, Axial Compressors, Centrifugal Compressors, Steam Turbines and Reciprocating Compressors.Work in a way that works for youWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
