Job descriptionFor the vacancy as a service technician, we are looking for someone who is responsible for carrying out repairs and interventions on smoke and heat extraction systems.The following tasks are among your responsibilities:

• carrying out repairs and interventions on RWA (smoke and heat extraction) systems

• responsible for the start-up and commissioning of newly installed systems

• in larger projects, you will manage subcontractors or other technicians

• you will be employed with B2B customers (mainly warehouses, shopping centers, production halls, and larger buildings)

• occasionally and in the long term, you will also mentor less experienced technicians

• safety is a priority

• accurately filling in service reports

• communicating with the person responsible for planning and project management

Your profileFor the vacancy as a service technician, we are looking for someone who fits the following profile:

• you will always leave from home with a company van, so a driver’s license is required

• you will be supported by a dedicated planner who arranges all practical appointments for you within the agreed region

• Fluent in speaking and understanding Dutch, knowledge of French is a significant plus

• initial experience as a service technician for maintenance and repairs

• knowledge of electricity/electronics and pneumatic systems

• NO FEAR OF HEIGHTS

• willing to obtain a VCA and aerial work platform certificate if you do not already have one

• willing to be on call duty in a rotating system

• * for the first 6 months, new employees will go on the road with a colleague to get to know everything, after which they will go out alone **
