Job purpose
To curate digital content from the SGSAH PhD community for an online Research Showcase and assist with the creation and promotion of digital content more broadly for SGSAH.
Main duties and responsibilities
• Curate content for SGSAH’s online Research Showcases and online exhibitions (images, audio and text.)
• Support efforts to promote new and existing digital resources to attract new audiences and better reach existing audiences.
• Liaise with SGSAH team to support Alumni Engagement strategy.
• Work closely with the Media and Communication administrator to develop social media content to promote SGSAH in the arts & humanities more widely.
• Ensure all digital information is accurate and current, and compliant with copyright legislation.
• Liaise regularly with the SGSAH team on content planning.

Eligibility
This post is open to doctoral researchers in the Arts & Humanities, enrolled at an SGSAH member HEI.
The appointed Digital Curator will report to the Partnerships and Placements Manager of SGSAH. We expect the postholder to work largely remotely with occasional in-person meetings and assistance with in-person events if/when relevant.
Application Process
Shortlisted candidates will be invited for interview and asked to do a short task in advance.
Interviews will be undertaken in March 2023.
Terms and Conditions
Salary will be Grade 4, £21,197 – £23,715 per annum pro rata.
This post is part time (5 hours per week) and fixed term for up to 6 months.
One post will cover 1 April 2023 to 30 September 2023 and the other 1 October 2023 to 31 March 2024.
