We are supporting a globally recognized leader in the Raw Materials sector in their search for a SHE Manager to join one of their key European production facilities. This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of safety, health, and environmental initiatives at a site that combines both production and R&D, allowing you to influence operations while supporting innovation.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead and oversee SHE activities across the production and R&D sites.
* Develop, implement, and monitor safety programs, risk management strategies, and compliance processes.
* Drive the implementation and adoption of a strong safety culture across all levels of the organization.
* Collaborate with production, R&D, and operational leadership to ensure operational excellence alongside safety.
* Mentor and manage a small team of SHE professionals.
* Act as a trusted advisor to site management on all SHE matters.

Key Requirements

* Level 1 Prevention Advisor certification (Belgium).
* Extensive experience in SHE management within manufacturing, ideally in chemicals or related industries.
* Strong track record in risk management, compliance, and embedding safety culture.
* Ability to influence and engage teams across all levels of the organization.
* Fluent in French and English; Dutch is a plus.
* Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Additional Information

* Location: Belgium – Walloon region
* Package: Competitive, including salary and benefits, aligned with experience – EUR95,000 to EUR120,000 basic dependant on experience
