Site Manager – ConstructionLocation: Birmingham / sites UK wideSalary: £55,000 per annumAre you an experienced Construction Site Manager looking frustrated by a lack of career progression?We’re working with an expanding main contractor, that is seeking a dynamic and driven Site Manager that is keen to progress their career into Contracts Management in the next 12-18 months. The successful Site Manager will be based in/near Birmingham and be flexible to travel and lodge UK wide when required.Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all on-site activities, ensuring compliance with health, safety and quality standards.
• Lead and motivate site teams, including subcontractors and suppliers, to deliver high-quality work.
• Develop and implement project schedules, ensuring milestones are met.
• Liaise with clients, architects, and engineers to ensure smooth communication and project progression.
• Monitor costs and resources to achieve budgetary objectives.
• Conduct regular site inspections to maintain quality and safety standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Construction Site Manager, ideally within a main contractor environment.
• Multi sector experience (build & civils) would be advantageous but is not essential as the initial project will be a light commercial scheme.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, regulations, and health & safety protocols.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under tight deadlines.
• Relevant qualifications such as SMSTS, CSCS card, and First Aid certification.
