The University of Aberdeen is looking to appoint for the role of Site Services Assistants.

You will provide a service and support to student residents and guests covering a wide range of tasks within the University owned and managed student accommodation. The tasks include reception, responding to incidents, movement of a heavy goods and rubbish, key management, and security patrols. The post involves a shift pattern including nightshifts and weekends.

Site Services Assistants play a key role in the delivery of an effective 24-hour service, 365 days a year to all residents living in our University owned accommodation portfolio. This is a public facing role requiring a high level of interaction with the students, staff and the general public. The successful candidate will require to have excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with situations professionally and with empathy.

You will have had previous customer facing experience coupled with knowledge of computing software packages.

A clean, current full driving licence is essential.

We have two vacancies within the team, one full-time and one part-time. Please see below shift pattern and hours of work:

Full-Time: Shift pattern 4 on 4 off = 2x day shift and 2 x night shift, 07:30 – 19:30 and

19:30 – 19:30.

Part-Time: 2 days shifts 07.30 – 19.30.

Salary will be at the appropriate point on the Grade 3, £22,681 – £25,138 per annum, based on skills and experience.
