• Work with children and families from referral through assessment, Child in Need (CIN)/Team Around the Child (TAC) support, child protection, pre-court and court proceedings, and children in care.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with children, young people, and their families.
• Conduct thorough assessments (e.g., Section 17, Section 47, Child and Family Assessments).
• Develop and implement child-centred plans (CIN Plans, Child Protection Plans, Care Plans).
• Respond to safeguarding concerns, undertake Child Protection Enquiries (Section 47).
• Engage in direct work with children and families.
• Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners.
• Prepare statutory reports for court proceedings and participate in legal processes.

Expectations / RequirementsWe’re looking for you, if:

• You have a social work degree and relevant professional registration.
• You possess post-qualification experience in children’s social work, covering CIN/CP, court work, and permanence.
• You have experience conducting thorough assessments and developing child-centred plans.
• You are proficient in working with children and families from diverse backgrounds.
• You demonstrate strong communication, interpersonal, and report-writing skills.
• You are able to work independently and as part of a team.
• You are adept at managing complex cases and responding to crisis situations.
• You are committed to continuous professional development.
