Soft Services ManagerLocation: Ashton-under-LyneSalary : CompetitiveWorking: 40 hours per weekA fantastic Opportunity has arisen within Bidvest Noonan for a Soft Services Manager, who will work at our client’s prestigious site.Duties of a Soft Services Manager:

  • Fully understand Specification and implement on site
  • Understand KPI/SLA’s and ensure targets are met monthly
  • Submission of additional works following approved processes
  • Managing Rentokil visits and recommendations, communicating these to the client. All recommendations and visit reports updated on MYRENTOKIL portal
  • Managing Ground Control visits and reports sent to the client
  • Managing OutCo visits for cold weather services and sharing with the client
  • Manage all budgets, hours, consumables, uniform, stationary
  • Utilise approved tools to manage budgets and consumables e.g. budget tracker, Bunzl order form, Helpdesk
  • Management of all service lines and sub-contractor works according to requirements
  • Management of all machinery issues and responsible for ensuring machines are fully operable at all times
  • Full responsibility for all compliance- Health & Safety, Training, Inductions, PAT testing etc to ensure fully up to date
  • All electronic auditing requirements- Weekly & Monthly
  • Ensuring standards are being met on a daily, weekly & monthly basis
  • Rotas/Schedules in place for staff
  • Holidays process and allowances being managed, appropriate cover etc.
  • Staff recruitment, retention and development
  • Management of payroll processes and budgets
  • Managing HR activity within on-site team and carrying out staff management processes in line with HR guidance
  • Building relationships with Client and sub-contractors (regular communication/updates)
  • Regular communication with Soft Services Manager
  • Create and maintain schedules for staff and procedures associated with soft services delivery and completion.
  • Oversee all third-party activities associated with soft services performed
  • Creation of procedures for problem prevention and intervention
  • Act as front-line trouble shooters in anticipating and identifying potential problems and acting quickly to resolve them
  • Fully understanding and utilising of all company systems such as Ngage, Agresso,Human Focus etc
  • Staff training and development
  • Ensure that all staff are assessed/developed/performance managed on a regular basis, to include annual Pathways to Success
  • Ensure adequate supervision id organised for days off or holiday cover
  • Manage the customer effectively
  • Proactively deliver solutions to meet client expectations
  • Strong sales initiative and awareness of new business opportunities, maximising local knowledge to assist with problem solving

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Excellent customer service
  • Effective communication skills using multiple approaches to effectively manage staff and site issues
  • Gets things done, well organised, prioritises and plans on how to achieve results
  • Works collaboratively with others, involving and encouraging other team members
