My Client is a leading technology platform specializing in empowering local restaurants to grow with our innovative Commission-Free Delivery & Pickup model and proprietary delivery optimization technology.What You Will Do:Re-architect the system in collaboration with engineering teams, simplifying dependencies and enhancing scalability, maintainability, and reliability.Define and enforce architectural principles, patterns, and best practices across teams.Document the current system architecture, identify inefficiencies, and propose structured improvements.Evaluate new projects and features for architectural alignment and seamless system integration.Provide guidance to engineering teams on architectural decisions and trade-offs.Establish and oversee design reviews, governance processes, and technical standards.Lead technical discussions and conduct knowledge-sharing sessions to elevate team expertise in modern architecture practices.Implement performance optimization strategies to improve system latency and resilience.Define and monitor key architecture KPIs to ensure continuous improvement in system design.Execute the vision of senior leadership into scalable, effective software architecture.Requirements:– 10+ years of software development experience, including at least 3+ years in an architecture-focused role.– Expertise in .NET (C#) backend development, microservices architecture, and distributed systems.– Proven success in re-architecting complex systems, streamlining service dependencies, and optimizing performance.– Hands-on experience with API design, service orchestration, event-driven architectures, and domain-driven design (DDD).– In-depth understanding of scalability, security, high availability, and observability in cloud environments (Azure/GCP).– Skilled in analyzing and documenting existing architectures, designing future-state systems, and aligning technical direction.– Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with engineering teams, leadership, and stakeholders.– Experience with CI/CD, DevOps practices, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Pulumi).– Background in e-commerce or similar industries with projects involving order management, payments, and catalog systems.– Familiarity with backend monitoring tools and performance measurement practices.– Passion for high-quality designs, code, user experience, and performance optimization.APPLY NOW!
