FAAC Technologies, world leader in access automation, parking systems and access control, counting on 53 sales companies in 29 countries, across 5 continents, more than 3.700 employees worldwide and 18 manufacturing plants is looking for a Software Developer that will be part of our Product Development team based in our HQ in Bologna.Responsibilities:

• Researching, designing, writing and testing new software programs
• Maintaining systems by monitoring, identifying and correcting software defects
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Investigating new technologies
• Constantly updating technical knowledge and skills by attending in-house and/or external courses, reading manuals and accessing new applications
• Problem-solving and lateral thinking as part of a team, or individually, to meet the project needs

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master degree in Computer Science
• 2-3 years of experience min.
• Mandatory knowledge of C/C++ language
• Experience with Object Oriented Design, Patterns, multi-threading
• Experience using QT Framework
• Mandatory experience with REST services and API design
• Mandatory experience with Git and project management strategies
• Mandatory knowledge of Linux operating system
• Fluent English to work across international teams
• Aspiration to constantly improve yourself and learn new technologies and concepts
• Team player with good communication skills
• SCRUM and Agile oriented mind

Preferred qualifications (as a “nice to have”):

• Experience with Bash scripting
• Experience with Javascript and Node.js
• Experience with cross building and related toolchains
