Technical Skills and Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar
• Previous experience in a technical role, either in industry, community or academic environments
• Very good knowledge of object-oriented programming and, in particular, one or more of the following languages: C, C++, C#, Objective-C, Swift.
• Good knowledge of Agile methodology, documentation and testing
• Experience in Apple macOS, cross-platform development and Qt are a big plus
• Knowledge and experience in USB HID interfacing are an asset
• Interest in CAD and 3D software is an advantage
• Excellent communication skills, both in oral and written English
• High motivation to meet and exceed goals
• Personal attitude that strives for challenges and learning on the job
• Team and success-oriented work style

Job DescriptionUnder the supervision of the Software Engineering Manager and other Team members, the Software Engineer will be responsible to design and deploy 3Dconnexion software solutions that will improve the 3D experience given by our products in Apple macOS and/or Microsoft Windows operating systems.In his/her role, the Software Engineer will have the unique opportunity to forge the new generation of 3Dconnexion software solutions and driver components. With a deep knowledge of modern programming languages (C, C++, C#, Swift) and 3D virtual environments, he/she will contribute as well on the improvement and maintenance of current applications.For this position, we are seeking an engaged, motivated software engineer at the junior, mid or senior level, who is passioned about programming languages, demonstrates a pragmatic approach to problem solving, has excellent communication skills and willingness to learn and grow in their career.About 3Dconnexion3Dconnexion is the leading provider of award-winning devices for 3D design and visualization professionals.
