Basic Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 11+ years of relevant work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD

• Bachelors and/or Masters degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required

8 to 12+ years of hands-on experience in Performance Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, Tuning, analysis or applications program development.

• Hands-on experience in Unix Linux OS environments operating system internals file systems disk storage and networking protocols System internals

• Working knowledge with VMs and Containers

• Expert knowledge and strong experience using tools such as Loadrunner, Jmeter

• Understanding of APM solutions like Appdynamics Dynatrace OPNET etc

• Coding Knowledge in programming languages like Java, Python and scripting languages

• Should have experience in defining Performance Strategy and reporting performance baselines

• Ability to work independently and be a team player

• Professional work experience in highly scalable web services

• Exposure to containerized microservices architecture and stacks

• Understanding of Disaster Recovery methodologies

• Experience working with Agile teams

• Knowledge of monitoring tools like Splunk, Keynote, Graphana

• Experience working in pastpaced 247 environments
• This role has oncall responsibilities Excellent oral and written communication skills are a must
