We drive our strategy as an energy technology company, underpinned by robust technology roadmaps and an efficient operating model that allows each engineer to innovate, add value and reach their potential.Partner with the bestAs Software Engineering COE Manager you will be responsible for the Strategical and Technical guidance of the team, focusing on software development and execution, partnering with other engineering departments and functions for flawless projects and programs execution. As a people leader, you will be responsible for supervising, managing, and motivating team members daily. You will act proactively to ensure smooth team operations and effective collaboration, engaging the team to achieve goals.

  • Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products and expand the team’s expertise from core product areas into new energy spaces, electrification, and automation.
  • Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, including planning, development, testing, and deployment, implement best practices for software engineering, including coding standards, code reviews, and automated testing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, establish priorities, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure timely delivery of software solutions covering turbomachinery products and plants.
  • Identify and resolve technical challenges, ensuring the scalability, reliability, and performance of software applications.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, integrating them into the team’s workflow as appropriate.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation, professional growth, and interdependency within the team.

Fuel your passionTo be successful in this role you have have

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field and proven experience in software development and engineering, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, tools, and technologies and solid understanding of agile development practices and experience with project management tools
  • Experience in managing and mentoring software engineers, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, or others relevant to the project , knowledge of major control platforms available in the market.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
