Please speak to a member of our Recruitment and Onboarding team for more information.Your Role and What You’ll Be DoingWe are currently recruiting for a talented Solicitor to join our medical negligence team based in our Leeds office.The successful candidate will join Partner , who has extensive experience in supporting clients affected by serious and life changing medical negligence. Ross specialises in complex cases including birth injuries, brain and spinal injuries, cancer misdiagnosis, and fatal claims, often involving inquests.Recognised by Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners, Ross is known for his compassionate and thorough approach, helping clients and their families navigate challenging circumstances with clarity and care. His team is committed to improving patient safety and regularly engages with healthcare professionals and public forums to advocate for better standards in medical treatment.You will have the opportunity to manage your own caseload while also assisting senior team members with more complex, high-value cases. You’ll handle cases from start to finish, using your commercial and analytical skills to identify key issues and propose practical solutions for our clients. Whenever possible, you will aim to secure interim payments to facilitate rehabilitation, care packages, and suitable accommodation before claims are concluded.Our team is dedicated to improving the quality of life for our clients and works on some truly complex cases. This is an excellent opportunity to join a thriving, supportive, and highly experienced team.About YouWe’re looking for a Solicitor who has a passion for medical negligence work and a proven experience working on high value multi track cases. Our ideal candidate will have the following:

• 1yr PQE+ experience in Medical Negligence
• The ability to take instructions from clients and give sound legal advice;
• Demonstratable technical experience gained within medical negligence;
• Demonstrable experience assisting seniors across high value complex cases;
• The ability to manage own caseloads whilst maintaining exceptional attention to detail and seamless service;
• The ability to operate independently and work collaboratively as part of a team to deliver the best outcomes for our clients;
