Our client solely works in Family Law, and their teams are structured with a department specialising in mediation matters and we are seeking an experienced Solicitor or Legal Executive to support clients in mediation.This is an exciting time to join the firm, who are offering a unique role for an experienced Family Mediator who enjoys and is able to negotiate their clients through complex disputes. Key skills will be the ability to build solid relationships with families, fractured by their circumstances, and provide guidance to help all parties navigate challenging situations and to ideally prevent court action and related delays and costs.As a Family Mediator, you will help to resolve financial and childcare related disputes and will play a crucial role in facilitating amicable resolutions. The department have already developed a very good process to tailor the mediation process and the fee earners strive to deliver a very high standard of service, and you will be someone who can work collaboratively across teams.You will not be in a financially targeted role, working on a billable hour basis, to enable you to have the time to collect, research and analyse evidence to shape and support your discussions with clients. You will demonstrate empathy in your communication style, as well as solid knowledge in this specialist area of family law.Benefits
