As a Solicitor, you will play a crucial role in providing expert legal services to a diverse range of clients in the area of contentious probate. You will manage a complex caseload, mentor junior team members, and support the head of department and partners in delivering exceptional client service.Responsibilities

• Proactively manage a complex litigation caseload with limited supervision
• Provide high-quality legal advice and manage client relationships effectively
• Mentor and support junior team members in their professional development
• Act for both claimants and defendants, from initial instructions to dispute resolution
• Advise clients on funding options, procedure, and alternative dispute resolution processes
• Liaise with appropriate experts and counsel and undertake advocacy at interlocutory stages
• Contribute to the firm’s knowledge bank and stay updated with developments in litigation law

Requirements

• 2 years PQE in litigation
• Strong understanding of litigation law and processes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage a complex caseload with limited supervision
• Experience in mentoring and supporting junior team members
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Experience in advocacy and liaising with experts and counsel
