Our European HQ located in La Défense is looking to recruit an Junior Underwriter (on a Fixed term Contract of 6 months) to develop and manage our current Terrorism & Political Violence portfolio in France.

Terrorism has been marketed actively over the past months and we’re now clearly identified as a key player in in France. We believe it’s time to invest in a dedicated and skilled Terrorism Underwriter in order to take the next step forward.

Role Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop our presence on the Terror/PV market, maintain our GWP and profitability
• Develop relationships with brokers in order to ensure visibility and promote Chubb as a Go To Market for Terrorism/PV
• Being able to proactively adapt our offer to market needs
• Being able to set up and develop multinational programs with the help of our Multinational Service team
• Under the responsibility of the Property Country Manager, being accountable for the strategy and results (loss ratio) of the segment
• Cross work with other Chubb underwriters on specific package products

Qualifications

• Masters degree or equivalent
• At least 3 years‘ experience in a similar underwriting position on this specific segement of business, OR At least 3 years’ experience in Property Underwriting and willing to be training in a new segment
• Fluent French and English
