This project will focus on investigating and developing new image reconstruction methods for Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM).Scope and Objectives

• Investigate existing reconstruction methods used in TEM imaging.
• Develop and implement new mathematical algorithms to improve image reconstruction.
• Derive efficient TEM image acquisition parameters and schemes that effectively accommodate the reconstruction algorithms.
• Compare the performance of different reconstruction techniques.
• Provide comprehensive documentation and analysis of the findings.

As a master’s student, you will actively participate in collaborative meetings, present your findings, and contribute to the academic and practical advancements in TEM imaging.QualificationsWe encourage candidates with the following qualifications to apply:

• Currently enrolled in a university program in applied physics, mathematics, electrical engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in computational imaging, image processing, and AI-based approaches.
• Proficiency in Python.
• A quick learner with a willingness to explore and learn topics outside their comfort zone and a great teammate.
• Knowledge of electron microscopy is an advantage.
