How will you make an impact?

As the senior manager of the image analysis portfolio, you will provide vision, leadership and execution in the image processing, analysis and AI portfolio of the VDS business unit. You will lead all aspects of the development of products strategies, products definitions, positioning, and products lifecycle management. You will collaborate with all business units (Life Science, Materials Science and Semiconductor) to provide the right image processing tools needed in the end user’s solutions!

What will you do?

• Build a long term strategic vision for your portfolio to support the Materials and Structural analysis Division (MSD) needs

• Work with the VDS leadership team to build out the near and long-term strategic roadmap and priorities

• Lead a team of product managers and application development engineers who use your products to build ad-hoc image processing solutions to support MSD business units

• Analyze market trends, customer requirements and competitive strategy, and find opportunities to grow customer and business value through product positioning and differentiation

• Work efficiently with a distributed team across different geographies and time zones

• Develop and present compelling training materials of your products for sales teams and product applications specialists

How will you get there?

Education

We are looking for a Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science. PhD in image processing and analysis or data science is preferred.

Experience

We encourage candidates with at least 8 years oexperience in product management in the field of computer science and vision; people or transversal management experience mandatory.

Experience in processing Electron Microscopy images, in the life science domain, materials science domain and/or semiconductor domain is a strong plus. We need a candidate with a confirmed project management and organizational skills and a strong ability to prioritize efficiently. We will encourage a track record of communicating high-level information to multiple audiences, including scientists, executives, and non-scientific personnel!

Knowledge and Skills

• Uncontested authority traditional image processing and/or machine and deep learning
