We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Trading Business Analyst to join a leading organization in the energy trading sector. This role focuses on delivering innovative solutions to optimise trading operations, manage risks, and enhance efficiency across the trading lifecycle.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and design efficient trading application solutions.Manage product backlogs and work with technical teams to ensure timely implementation.Leverage C/ETRM tools (Openlink, TriplePoint, Allegro) to streamline trading strategies and risk mitigation.Provide expert support for applications related to commodities trading, shipping, and finance.Analyse and improve trading processes, ensuring compliance with organisational standards.Required Skills and Experience:Minimum 9 years of experience in commodities trading within leading trading houses, IOCs, or vendors.In-depth understanding of the front-to-back office trade lifecycle, risk management, and commodity markets (LNG preferred).Strong technical skills in SQL, workplace tools (Excel, PowerPoint), and collaboration platforms (Jira, Azure DevOps).Hands-on experience with C/ETRM systems and knowledge of trading analytics, fleet management, and portfolio optimization.Familiarity with Agile frameworks, PMP/Prince2 certification is a plus.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in technology or finance; postgraduate qualifications (MSc, MBA, PhD) are an advantage
