Stage ingénieur MLOps (H/F) – Janvier 2024

Au sein de l’équipe Data Science, sous la supervision du AI Product Manager, en relation avec diverses équipes (marketing, finance, etc.), vous assistez les Data Scientists sur des sujets tels que la science des données, l’apprentissage automatique et MLOps.

A ce titre, votre mission s’articule autour des activités suivantes :

Déployer et maintenir les éléments du cycle de vie du modèle ML, en particulier, mettre en œuvre :

Industrialisation :

Devenir le principal expert MLOps de l’équipe, tant pour la connaissance des normes industrielles que pour la conception et la mise en œuvre conformément à ces normes, par modèle / projet (ce point nécessite une solide compétence de base au départ, puis sera progressivement atteint à la fin du stage).

Profil : 

Prochainement diplômé(e) d’une école d’ingénieur, d’une université ou équivalent. Vous parlez couramment anglais. Vous maîtrisez Python et SQL.

La connaissance d’une plateforme cloud (Azure, GCP, AWS, …) est un plus.

Expérience appliquée réelle dans la gestion de projets d’apprentissage automatique de bout en bout, y compris la conception et la mise en œuvre d’un appareil de gouvernance MLOps. Une telle expérience appliquée comprend de préférence autant que possible des compétences suivantes :

Surveillance des systèmes de construction et de production à l’aide d’outils de surveillance et d’alerte automatisés.

Framework(s) d’apprentissage automatique (par exemple TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, Scikit-Learn); Plateforme(s) ML (par exemple Databricks, Dataiku, AML Studio); Outils MLOps (par exemple Kubeflow, TFX, AutoML, MLFlow).

The Watches & Fine Jewelry Data Science team is responsible for the ongoing implementation and scaling of AI initiatives into the division’s business operations.

As an intern, you will be part of the Data Science team under the supervision of the AI Product Manager. Your responsibilities will range across the topics of data science, machine learning and MLOps. Your role will be transversal and you will work in collaboration with team members from the Operations, Marketing, IT & Finance departments, as well as cross-market and cross-regional teams.

• Deploy and maintain ML model lifecycle elements, in particular, implementing:
  • Feature engineering
  • Model evaluation and explainability
  • Model blessing
  • Model automated retraining
  • Model workflows from onboarding, to operations, to decommissioning
  • Model version tracking & governance
  • Data archival & version management
  • Model and drift monitoring
• Industrialization
  • Automation
  • CI/CD
• Become the primary MLOps expert for the team, both for knowledge of industry standards, as well as the design and implementation in accordance with such standards, per model / project (this item requires a sound foundational competence to start, then shall be incrementally achieved by the end of the stage).

Preferred experience:

• Master’s student in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or similar.
• Fluent English and French.
• Proficient in Python and SQL.
• Knowing your way around a cloud platform (Azure, GCP, AWS, …) is a plus.
• Real-world applied experience (either work or school project experience) in managing machine learning projects end-to-end, including the design and implementation of an MLOps governing apparatus. Such applied experience preferably includes as many as possible of the following competencies:
  • Monitoring build & production systems using automated monitoring and alerting tools.
  • Machine learning framework(s) (e.g. TensorFlow,  Keras, PyTorch, Scikit-Learn).
  • ML Platform(s) (e.g. Databricks, Dataiku, AML Studio).
  • MLOps tools (e.g. Kubeflow, TFX, AutoML, MLFlow).
  • Experiment tracking, version tracking.
