We are looking for an enthusiastic Stakeholder Engagement Advisor to form part of a
cross-organisational team, initially working on the Eelscapes project until December 2024,
which aims to restore wetlands on a landscape scale. An exciting partnership made up of the
Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust, Environment Agency, GWT and land managers will work together to
develop a series of connected wetland sites as part of a Defra funded Landscape Recovery pilot
project set in one of the UK’s most important river systems.
You will be responsible for managing landowner relationships and planning stakeholder
engagement. The role has a particular remit for engaging local communities in the project area
and supporting co-design of those aspects of the Project focused on access, social benefits and
community engagement. This work will help inform the development programme and build a pipeline
of opportunities for habitat restoration and community engagement throughout the implementation
period and beyond.
This role is funded by Natural England under a Landscape Recovery Project Development Grant
