At Swissport, we are looking for a dedicated Quality, Health, Safety & Environment (QHSE) Station Support Manager (Regional) to help shape the future of our operations and drive our Zero Incident, Zero Waste culture.As a QHSE StationManager (Regional), you will be a strategic partner in advancing safety, health, environmental, and quality initiatives. You’ll work closely with station management to ensure compliance with Swissport’s global standards, lead cultural change, and drive operational excellence across our regional stations.ResponsibilitiesChampioning Safety and Quality in Operations

  • Lead safety initiatives across ground handling, trucking, fueling, fleet, and cargo operations.
  • Conduct risk assessments, manage operational risk registers, and drive the “Just Culture” philosophy.
  • Investigate incidents, implement preventative measures, and promote best practices to improve safety performance.

Driving Continuous Improvement

  • Lead cultural change towards a Zero Incident, Zero Waste mindset.
  • Implement Swissport’s QHSE management systems, ensuring compliance with ISO standards.
  • Conduct safety audits, monitor KPIs, and deliver performance reports to management.

Providing Leadership and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build and guide a high-performing QHSE team, ensuring they are equipped with the skills and knowledge to excel.
  • Foster strong relationships with airport authorities, customer airlines, unions, and other stakeholders.
  • Act as a coach, advisor, and change agent to drive continuous improvement across the region.

Supporting Compliance and Technical Excellence

  • Align regional strategies with Swissport’s global QHSE roadmap.
  • Monitor legal and industry regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Enhance resource-sharing and best-practice exchange within the region and globally.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in QHSE management, preferably in logistics, aviation, or a similar operational environment.
  • Strong knowledge of safety management systems, ISO standards, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills, with a collaborative approach.
  • A passion for fostering a culture of safety, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the region.
