We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Supply Teacher / Cover Supervisor with a STEM background to join schools in the local area.About the RoleAs a Supply Teacher / Cover Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of secondary schools, providing classroom support across different STEM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths). Whether you’re looking for part-time or full-time hours, this role offers flexibility to fit your needs. You’ll gain valuable classroom experience while contributing to a positive learning environment.Key Responsibilities:Deliver engaging STEM lessons or supervise classrooms in the absence of the regular teacher.Support students in their academic and personal development.Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement and achievement.Adapt lessons and teaching materials to meet the diverse needs of students.What We Offer:Flexibility : Choose part-time or full-time working hours that suit your schedule.Impact : Play a key role in shaping students’ academic progress and future careers.Classroom Experience : Gain experience in a variety of school environments to further your teaching career.Competitive Day Rate : £110 – £140 per day, depending on experience.Working Hours : Daily hours of 6.5 hours.Essential Requirements:Must have a DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one.STEM knowledge or experience in an academic or working life setting.Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students.Passion for working in education and helping students succeed.
