Electronics and Computer Science (ECS) at the University of Southampton is the UK’s top School integrating computer science, electronics, and electrical engineering.
You will join our team in this important role assisting in the day to day running of the ECS facilities. The tasks include purchasing and receipt of goods and equipment vital for a successful academic environment.
It is essential you have a skill level equivalent to NVQ 3 or HNC or A-levels with experience of organising your own workload and demonstrable IT skills. As there will be a substantial amount of communication with a range of staff you will demonstrate the ability to communicate with a range of stakeholders.
You will join a small team that embraces diversity. Due consideration will be given to those who have had career breaks.
This is a part-time permanent role (0.70 FTE/ 25.20 hours per week) over 5 days Monday to Friday. This is an ideal opportunity for applicants with caring responsibilities.. Start and finish times can be negotiated to accommodate personal commitments.
