Salary: APM Grade 5 £25,138 – £27,979 per annum

Hours of work: Full time 35 hours per week.

Education Services provides high quality professional support for learners, teachers and researchers, including external users of Swansea University Libraries. This role presents an exciting opportunity to work with specialists across the Directorate and University on the delivery of high-quality communication and engagement with those audiences and the wider Galleries, Libraries, Archives and Museums (GLAM) sector.
Working closely with the Strategic Communications and Engagement Development Officer, Director and Executive Leadership Team to ensure timely, appropriate and consistent communications, the role will be key to ensuring Education Services shares information effectively and consistently through all channels and particularly the web and social media. This includes assisting with the:
- Creation of engaging and informative bi-lingual content for all online and offline channels
- Effective use of existing communication channels and resources across the University and beyond
- Promotion of our successes to a wider audience including media activity and award entries
- Development and implementation of an internal communication programme to promote collaboration, visibility, transparency and satisfaction
We’re looking for someone with a degree level qualification or equivalent professional experience in communications. You’ll show how you would use your excellent communication, visual, copy-editing and Welsh-language skills to engage a wide audience, including online and through social media.
