Our engineering and project management and construction disciplines ensure safe, efficient, and sustainable delivery of projects globally across the metals and mining, infrastructure, and energy sectors.We manage our clients’ entire project lifecycle from studies to building assets, operating the assets, and developing efficiencies. Join our team and become part of a community that strives for positive change–providing the best solutions for our clients’ toughest challenges!As a successful candidate, you will:Participate in a wide range of projects covering civil structures design including bridges, retaining walls, dams, culvert structures, liquid retaining structures, pump stations. Activities include site investigation, steel and concrete modeling of civil structures for both front end planning and the detailed engineering phase for multi-discipline projects.Develop 3D models in an integrated CAD environment and extracting 2D drawings for fabricationProduce detailed engineering drawings and documentsLead project design work, coordinate the work of Structural Designers and check the design work of other personnelPrepare design concepts and project proposalsParticipate in formal engineering processParticipate in site investigation and civil/structural steel modeling for both front end planning studies and the detailed engineering phase for multidiscipline projectsYou bring to the role:Qualification from an accredited engineering institutionExperience in the design of heavy industrial sector is preferredMust function independently with minimal supervision in a multi-discipline team settingMust mentor / assist on the job training of designersMust demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issuesMust demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environmentAbility to communicate in EnglishMust have written and oral communication skills and the ability to convey project technical information to project managers, clients and peersMust demonstrate organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task, prioritize, take direction, and provide direction to others ensuring the quality of deliverablesStrong computer knowledge is required including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Excellent safety awarenessWillingness to be a part of a global engineering company and to collaborate with teams in other offices around the worldWhy join us?
