Purpose of the Role

To provide accurate and effective support to the local and global design Engineering (Level 1 & 2) teams, sales teams and production teams whilst producing and maintaining technical documentation for all products from the Leviat range. Contributing to R&D activities within the industrial technology team
 

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

-Provide engineering support for all Leviat products within the group of allocated products for national  international projects
-Design of bespoke project-specific products obeying all code requirements manufacturing restrictions. 
-Preparation of approvable static calculations  according to Eurocode 3 or PED-Pressure Equipment Directive
-Support local and global engineering teams with design tools for a group of products.
-Preparation of schedules showing the most cost-effective design solution utilising Leviat Products.
-Identify additional business opportunities in projects that are worked on. 
-Active support of the international sales department in project processing
-Convert users of traditional methods to improved alternatives that use Leviat products.
-Support Software developments with input regarding the product design.
-Maintain accurate records of project specific information using the company CRM system. 
-Assist in Research and Development tasks as requested.
-Prepare technical training material and perform training sessions for technical and sales staff or external parties in person and via MS Teams.

Key Functional Competencies and Relevant Experience

-Engineering Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering, 
-Experience in steel construction, plant construction and piping systems
-Good knowledge in Eurocode 3, structural calculations and FEM Software
-Very good command in spoken and written English and German
-Proven ability to interact with commercial teams including customer
-Excellent communication skills, with the flexibility and adaptability to liaise with and manage at all levels in the organization
-Positive attitude and open mindset
