Student Activities Administrator

University of Bath

Join the Students’ Union as a Student Activities Administrator!

This is an exciting opportunity to join our creative SU Activities team in supporting student-led societies and other communities of students. The role will allow you to work with a diverse range of students and to test out a variety of ideas and projects within a flexible environment.

As well as the society team, the Activities area consists of an arts, volunteering and sports team, all of which combines to create a vibrant and exciting place to work. Working within this team you will play a key role in ensuring that students have an amazing time at university.

You will

  • provide a range of support functions, ensuring that student groups run as smoothly as possible, assisting them in the planning and delivery of a range of activities throughout the year.
  • manage enquiries on behalf of the area, answering these directly or signposting to other areas.
  • help to plan and deliver events and trips, set up products online, draft risk assessments and manage bookings
  • provide general administrative support for meetings and other student group functions.

You will also be required to market and promote the area to the wider community, so experience in using online tools, including social media, would be an asset.
