Do you want to be part of a team that is reshaping logistics performance through data insights?How will you make an impact?Join us as a Student Assistant in the Logistics Centre of Excellence – Data & Analytics team, where you’ll support the development of analytics solutions that enable smarter decisions, more efficient operations, and better performance visibility across Arla’s global logistics network.You will support the Logistics Data team in building and developing analytics solutions within Arla’s Data Foundation. The role will focus on assisting the data analyst in developing insights using Databricks and Power BI, with responsibilities; spanning data exploration, documentation, and technical support for operational KPI reporting and performance management initiatives. We expect you to work 10-15 hours on average per week with considerations in your exam periods.Your tasks will consist of:

• Assist with data transformation and preparation in Databricks (using SQL and Python)
• Support in building Power BI dashboards for operational KPI visualization
• Perform basic data profiling and validation to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Document analytics workflows, data sources, user stories, and logic behind metrics
• Participate in user testing and feedback sessions, supporting product iterations
• Conduct ad hoc analyses to support decision-making and operational reviews
• Engage with stakeholders to understand requirements and usage needs

What will make you successfulWe see you are a strong academic individual with an interest applying analytics to real business problems. Personally you are highly structured with an attention to detail together with a good ability to document workflows clearly. Additionally we see you have/are:

• Soon to start or enrolled in a Master’s programme in Data Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, Computer Science or related field.
• Familiar with SQL and Python for data manipulation and analysis
• Experience or interest in working with Databricks, Power BI or Azure Data Lake
• An advantage would be previous coursework or practical experience in data analysis, coding, or dashboard development.
